    Joseph Carrillo is a composer living and working in Los Angeles. His music can be heard in numerous features, web series and commercials. He recently scored the indie horror film, Reaptown, on Amazon Prime and is currently hard at work on the feature Horror In The High Desert, coming in March 2021. He is part of the upcoming exhibit at Angel's Gate Cultural Center, Sanctuary of the Aftermath, with Five Sanctuary Songs, a music and sound design meditation featuring cello, English horn and bansuri.


    As one of the co-founders of Joy Music House, an initiative that supports composers through the scoring process, he has contributed orchestration, additional music, and music prep for other composers on Amazon's Homecoming Season 2, the Sundance documentary Try Harder!, and last year's Sundance award winner Minari, the score for which was recently placed on the shortlist for Oscar consideration.
