At the age of 21, Marc Eikelenboom's life changed when he unexpectedly became a father. He let go of his acting dream for a safe job in ICT. Ten years later, he decided to pursue his life-long dream and started his own company, in which he was mainly active as a train actor. Ten additional years later, he took his first steps as a dramatic actor for films in the 48 Hour Film Project. Transitioning from acting to directing, he proceeded to win three different editions of the 48 Hour Film Project, which propelled him to another level, creating work opportunities outside of the competition. He is now active full-time as a writer and director at his company Tripple3Film, where he has made dozens of successful short film productions and is working on his first full-length feature.
